Corpos abatidos, Slaughtered bodies, reflects on the security policy model adopted since the Military Dictatorship, which even today fuels the spiral of violence against individuals affected by the slaughter of their bodies during police operations in Brazil. These are actions registered as “confrontations”, legally supported by “acts of resistance followed by death”, but which in reality reflect the high rate of lethality in the service of a pseudo war against crime and drugs. The remains was collected from the facade of the victims' homes and also from the streets and sidewalks of the peripheral sectors where the deaths occurred.
